WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) -- Stacey is a mom who decided to open her heart and home to kids in need including her teen daughter Leah who has been a huge part of making their Forever Family a success.
They have provided temporary care for many children, and while they went on to adopt those who could not be reunited with their birth families, including Leah, they have kept in touch with their biological families and made them a part of their children's lives.
"I became a foster mother back in 2008, as I was told that we couldn't have any more biological children of our own," Stacey says. "So, my husband said, whatever you want to do. So, whatever you want to do ended up leading to five children later. And we just kept on going from there and helping as much as we can."
Ranging in ages from 2 to 25. Right now, Stacy has seven children living at home.
"Along with three cats and a dog," she explains. "So yes, we have a house full. We're outside, we're doing football, and playing board games, watching TV, playing with the baby, and just spending time with each other."

Stacey's birth daughter Leah plays a big role in her foster siblings' lives.
"We cater everything to every single sibling that I have because we all have different likings," she explains. "We all fit in our own way, and we all help each other fit in. They mean the world to me, honestly. Even though we're all not blood-related, we're all related in our own way. And they're just so special to me and I wouldn't trade the world for that."
Her wish for herself and her siblings is to follow their dreams. Leah wants to go to New York and study at Julliard.
But for now, she gets to continue to dream and grow with the love and support of all her siblings. Looking back, she says to families considering fostering to definitely do it.
"It's definitely a big leap, but I feel like at the end it's gonna be so worth it because watching them grow up, knowing that they have a good home and a good atmosphere is all worth it in the end," she says.
