Colorado Buffaloes head coach Deion Sanders had a rather hilarious interaction with his sons, Shedeur Sanders and Shilo Sanders, after the former asked about his dad's contract bonus.
For those unaware, Deion Sanders has already received $400,000 in bonuses so far this season amid the Buffaloes' 7-2 record. After their win over the Cincinnati Bearcats last October 26, Coach Prime received $150,000 for the team's sixth regular season win and another $150,000 for Colorado's bowl eligibility.
Deion Sanders got another $100,000 after guiding his Colorado football squad to a win over the Texas Tech Red Raiders in their Week 11 game.
Sure enough, Shedeur Sanders and Shilo Sanders saw all the news about their father's massive bonus, prompting the two to ask their father where the money is and joke about their share.
"I heard you get like extra $100,000 per win. Where mine at?" Shedeur Sanders asked his father while traveling with the team, as shown in a video shared by Bleacher Report.
Interestingly, Deion Sanders feigned ignorance about his contract and claimed that he doesn't know what his sons were talking about. At one point in the video, Coach Prime can even be heard saying, "That's not true."
Shedeur Sanders, for his part, said he wanted to read his father's contract.
The funny interaction between Deion Sanders and his sons didn't stop there. In the comment section of Bleacher Report's post, the Pro Football Hall of Famer couldn't help but laugh at the situation even more.
"My kids are hilarious," Deion Sanders added.
The Buffaloes head coach is set to earn $100,000 more for every win that he gets for the remainder of the regular season. Other bonuses that he could still receive include $150,000 each if he wins the Big 12 conference and National Coach of the Year, as well as $75,000 if he wins Big 12 Coach of the Year.
That being said, Deion Sanders can probably expect Shedeur Sanders and Shilo Sanders to keep bugging him about his bonuses.
