NHL Fantasy Hockey Waiver Wire Goalie Pickups Nov. 22 - Nedeljkovic, Jarry Or Neither?

On every game day this season, THN Fantasy will highlight players and goalies for fantasy managers to stream or roster for the rest of the season. The recommended players and goalies can be used in standard fantasy leagues or for daily fantasy games.

The Pens play a back-to-back Friday and Saturday, but based on their rotation it's likely Nedeljkovic in net. It's hard to make heads or tails of the Pens' goaltending, especially Jarry, who I thought looked quite strong in a 3-2 OTL against the Lightning. Neither goalie inspires confidence, especially given the Pens' anemic offense - they're 23rd in GF/GP - and the potential for a blowout loss is huge.

That being said, it's about time the Jets lost a little steam. Their 16-3-0 pace is unsustainable, and two of those three losses came over the past week. I think the game will be a lot closer than their previous matchup but obviously the Jets have a huge advantage still.

Eric Comrie, WPG at PIT (3% rostered)

There's a chance Comrie gets this start since the Jets face the Preds in Nashville on Saturday, but that also means Hellebuyck might play five straight road games. Comrie was victorious last time in a 6-3 win and put in an excellent performance with 39 saves on 42 shots. If he's tapped to start again, I'd be pretty confident streaming him.

James Reimer, BUF at ANA (1% rostered)

The Sabres have a back-to-back in Anaheim on Friday and San Jose on Saturday, so Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen and Reimer will split the starts. With Luukkonen shutting out the Kings in his previous start, it would make sense to go with the hot hand, but allowing him to rest one more day and start Saturday still gives him three days' rest before their next game on Wednesday, Nov. 27.

Reimer will get a chance to face his former team either night, and I do like his chances. He's played just two games this season, both for the Ducks, but they were tough road matchups against the Knights and Devils. He's serviceable with low upside, but a win should be very attainable against either team.
