The New York Jets will turn to one of the final few days of their 2024 NFL season.
Following loss to the Los Angeles Rams, the Jets (4-11) will visit the Buffalo Bills (12-3) at Highmark Stadium.
But before we even get to kickoff, there will be a lot of Jets-related discussions and conversations to be had throughout the coming days.
With that, here are five storylines to watch for during the lead up to the Jets against the Bills:
Rodgers, of course
USAT
As is usually the case, Jets quarterback has managed to catch some attention before one of their games in 2024. This time it's not fully just because of something he's done himself. Rodgers has a MCL injury and will be playing through it, so he says.
But Rodgers had some interesting words again. During his weekly segment on the "Pat McAfee Show," the QB joked about what it would be like being cut at the end of the season... by Brick Johnson, the son of team owner Woody Johnson. Rodgers' boss will not have enjoyed that.
Garrett's feelings

Receiver Garrett Wilson was not happy discussing his lack of involvement in the Jets' loss to the Rams. His comments would not have calmed any nerves in New York relating to rumors of Wilson wanting to be traded this offseason. What will this upcoming week bring for Wilson both on and off the field?
Facing the MVP?
Imagn
The Bills narrowly beat the Jets earlier this year in a 23-20 final. Since then, quarterback Josh Allen has been on a tear in Buffalo. It looks like either him or Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson will win the 2024 MVP Award... which might be bad news for Gang Green...
Kicker situation
USAT
The Jets signed kicker Greg Joseph to their practice squad. That comes after Anders Carlson had a brutal outing against Los Angeles.
Bounce-back on offense?
USAT
The Jets offense has not blown anyone away in 2024, but New York had seen some decent play for a few weeks... until the unit only put up nine points against the Rams. Against a banged-up defense the Bills have, a group that has allowed 40-plus points in multiple games in the recent past, this could be a chance for the Jets offense to get going again before the end of the season.
