Capello Explains Why Milan Skriniar is the Ideal Candidate to Bolster Juventus Backline

Legendary Italian football manager Fabio Capello advises his former employers Juventus to go after Paris Saint-Germain benchwarmer Milan Skriniar in January.

The Bianconeri are searching the market for a new defender after losing the services of Gleison Bremer until the end of the season. The Brazilian is widely considered as the club's most reliable centre-back, and arguably the best defender in Serie A.

To make matters even worse for Thiago Motta's side, Juan Cabal suffered a similar injury while on international duty. The left-back's absence thus leaves the club with a depleted defensive department.

So with two defenders ruled out for the season, many punters feel that putting their money on Juventus to win the Scudetto title could be a risky bet. But for those wishing to remain on the safe side, the Betzillion experts have you covered, as they'll provide you with all the information you need to safely bet online.

And speaking of safe bets, Capello argues Juventus must search for an accomplished profile who can provide guarantees rather than gambling on a defender who lacks experience.

The 78-year-old insists the club must get their recruitment right in January, as this decision could be crucial for the campaign.

Hence, the former Milan, Roma, Real Madrid and England manager considers Skriniar as the right man for the job while discussing the situation in his interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport (via IlBianconero).

The Slovakian rose to prominence during his early days at Sampdoria, earning himself a transfer to Inter in the summer of 2017.

After cementing himself as one of the finest defenders in Serie A, the 29-year-old left the Nerazzurri after seeing out his contract, and signed for PSG on a free transfer.

However, he's been reduced to a mere benchwarmer in the French capital, which is why Capello believes he'd be eager to return to Italy and put his career back on the right track.
