Miro was spotted getting back to business at a wrestling facility in Florida after being out of action for almost a year. The sighting at the Coastal Championship Wrestling training facility comes amid swirling speculation about his future with AEW.
The last time fans saw Miro in the ring was at AEW Worlds End on December 30, 2023, where he took down now-WWE star Andrade El Idolo in a high-profile match. Since then, things have been silent on Miro's in-ring status -- until now.
CCW's social media account posted a photo of Miro at their training center, captioning it, "Thanks for stopping by the CCW Training Facility, @ToBeMiro 💪," sparking fan theories about what's next for the powerhouse wrestler.
Adding to the intrigue, It was reported just recently that Miro requested his release from AEW. However, if the release isn't granted, he's locked into his contract until around spring 2026. It's been radio silence since those reports surfaced, making today's appearance all the more interesting.
Also spotted in the photos was wrestling veteran Gangrel, who AEW fans will remember from his surprise appearance at Double or Nothing 2024. Gangrel's involvement came during an intense TNT Championship barbed wire cage match between Adam Copeland and Malakai Black. Although Copeland retained his title, he suffered an injury that has kept him sidelined and led to him vacating the championship.
Miro's return to training could signal a move back into the wrestling spotlight, but whether that happens in AEW or elsewhere remains a mystery.
