"I'm just gonna leave THIS right HERE for y'all..." Sandra, 76, wrote alongside a video clip featuring photos of herself and Charles, 62, via Instagram on Friday, January 17.
The two met during the Men Tell All episode of Joan Vassos' season, according to BachelorNation.com. Sandra told the outlet that she and Charles began exchanging DMs after they met, and their friendship eventually blossomed into something more. The couple promised to let the other know if they were ever in their respective cities, and over the holidays, the stars aligned.
"Sandra and I spent some time together right around New Year's Eve. We had a really, really great time together. The vibe was amazing. Sandra is an incredible woman. I love her elegant charm and straightforwardness," Charles told the publication.
The portfolio manager from Rancho Palo Verdes, California, added that Sandra was "always up for an adventure" and described her as "classy and elegant and charming and all of the things that mature men look for in a woman."
Sandra spent New Year's Eve in Los Angeles, and Charles was able to take her out for a night on the town in the City of Stars. The two enjoyed dinner at Houston's in Pasadena and Charles said that "the whole restaurant" gave them a "shout-out."
Charles continued, "I got home by around 3 a.m.! Aren't seniors not supposed to be out past 10 p.m.? I told Sandra that the last time I got home that late was when I was in college. We had dinner and had a great conversation. We had our moment! She is a lovely woman. We really had a great conversation that was fun and insightful and talked about what we were looking for, and before we knew it, it was after 2 a.m."
Sandra also gushed about her time with Charles as they rang in the New Year.
"It was truly so nice! We were at the restaurant for at least two hours and we had a phenomenal conversation getting to know each other after dinner as well," Sandra raved. "We talked about our future, our kids, what we want in a relationship, the show, and so much more."
The retired executive assistant added that she found Charles "to be the ultimate gentleman" and "so sincere."
She continued, "He's so sincere. A lot of men can seem that way and throw on the charm, but he's not that way, it's truly who he is. He is intelligent and such a pleasure to talk with. On top of that, he's also so funny and witty. We got along very well. The hours we spent together were so fun, it was one of the best dates I've had in a long time."
As for whether or not Sandra and Charles shared a kiss at the end of the night, she confirmed that they did, indeed, lock lips before they said good night.
"Sometimes a hug just is not enough, so we did step into the lip-to-lip zone for a minute, but a lady doesn't tell!" Sandra revealed.
While both admit that they aren't exactly sure what the future holds with Charles' plans to move to South Africa for the next few years for his work, the reality stars admitted they were open to whatever comes their way.
