Jason Albanese Appointed Chief Growth Officer, Corporate EVP at Leidos

Leidos has named Jason Albanese its new chief growth officer and corporate executive vice president. He will replace Gerry Fasano, who will retire on April 4.

The company said Wednesday Albanese, who will officially assume the roles on March 3, will be key to implementing the new NorthStar 2030 strategy. Leidos CEO Tom Bell, a two-time Wash100 Award winner, said the strategy recognizes growing customer needs, robust market profitability and accelerating company differentiation.

Commenting on the recent executive moves, Bell said, "I want to congratulate Jason and thank Gerry for all he has done for our company and our country during a remarkable 40-year career."

"Gerry built a strong team and an excellent long-term strategy. Jason will lead our work to differentiate Leidos as a trusted partner who helps make customers' outcomes smarter and more efficient," He added.

Albanese currently serves as senior vice president of growth for the national security sector. In his more than eight years in the company, he has held several leadership posts, including SVP of strategy and business development of the Leidos Intelligence Group and the Leidos Health Group and VP of strategy and business development of the Leidos Defense Group.

He also spent more than 15 years at Lockheed, holding positions involved in information systems and global services, corporate engineering and technology, mission services and solutions and strategy and business development.
