Jared Ryder Foundation to host spaghetti dinner

A spaghetti dinner to benefit the Jared Ryder Foundation will be from noon to 5 p.m. March 30 at the Marconi Club, 135 River Ave., Leechburg.

The menu will include spaghetti, meatballs, salad, roll, dessert and drink, dine in or takeout. There will be a silent auction, children's craft table, T-shirt sales and a 50-50.

Tickets are $15; and children, $8. The foundation helps children and families affected by congenital heart disease. For tickets, contact Linda Sarraf at 412-965-2531.

Peoples Library plans annual luncheon fundraiser

The Peoples Library Spring Luncheon will be April 26 at the Banquet on Barnes Event Center at Knead Community Café, 1011 Barnes St., New Kensington.

Doors will open at 12:30 p.m. and the buffet lunch will begin at 1:30 p.m. There will be a bake sale, raffle prizes and a 50-50.

Prospect Cemetery to honor Civil War veterans

Prospect Cemetery is planning a July 24 event to recognize soldiers who are buried in the cemetery who served in the Civil War.

Burrell HS to present 'Matilda'

The drama department at Burrell High School will present its spring musical, "Matilda" at 7 p.m. Thursday, Friday and March 29 in the high school auditorium in Lower Burrell.

Saturday : A spaghetti dinner will be from 4 to 7 p.m. at Apollo United Presbyterian Church, 401 First St. Dine in or takeout. Menu: spaghetti, salad, bread, dessert and beverage.
