Nov. 18 -- MANKATO -- Lake City graduate Natalie Bremer, a Minnesota State University, Mankato junior guard, has been named the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week.

Bremer was chosen after recording 23 points, 10 rebounds, 3 steals and shooting 50 percent in an 82-76 win over the University of Wisconsin-Parkside on Saturday.

An all-conference choice a year ago when the Mavericks finished as national champions, Bremer is averaging 21.3 points, 6.3 rebounds and 3.3 steals per game for a Mankato team that is 2-1 overall and ranked No. 1 in NCAA Division II.

Also on the team is Goodhue's Elisabeth Gadient. The freshman guard is averaging four points and playing 15 minutes per game.
