PORTAGE -- A 22-year-old man remained behind bars Thursday morning after allegedly harassing a customer earlier this week at a local pizza restaurant and then threatening to kill the manager.

Portage police said they were called out shortly after 3 p.m. Monday to Domino's Pizza at 6032 U.S. 6 and were told a man, later identified as Michael Sukalo, had been sitting on a curb interfering with customer parking.

One customer felt intimidated enough to seek the help of the manager, who said he confronted Sukalo, who reportedly replied, "I have the freedom to murder you," according to the arrest report.

Police said they arrived and located Sukalo, who first refused to identify himself. When asked about the alleged threat, Sukalo's response was, "Did you think I was gon(na) do it," poilce said.

Police said as they took Sukalo into custody they found he had synthetic marijuana. He faces a felony count of intimidation, and misdemeanor counts of possessing a synthetic drug and marijuana.
