OnePlus Pad 2 is one of the first tablets to get Android 15, rolling out now

Following the OnePlus 12, the OnePlus Pad 2 is now getting its stable Android 15 update.

As announced on the OnePlus Community, Android 15 is now rolling out to the OnePlus Pad 2, the brand's latest tablet. The OxygenOS 15 update brings updated animations and features, including split notifications & Quick Settings, "Live Alerts" that work like the Dynamic Island on iOS, and more.

Upgrades that are helpful on the larger screen size of the OnePlus Pad 2 include "new Floating Window gestures" such as the ability to open an app in a floating window by dragging down on an incoming notification. There's also a new, optional 80% charge limit on the tablet.

OnePlus says this update is available now for EU, India, and global variants of the OnePlus Pad 2, but the Android 15 update won't be available to users in North America, including the US, until sometime later this week.

The full changelog follows:

Notably, this makes the OnePlus Pad 2 one of the first Android tablets to get an Android 15 update. Google's Pixel Tablet was updated in October and there are some other tablets available with the update as well, such as Xiaomi Pad 7, but OnePlus is well ahead of the curve on this one.
