Benson Boone, Megan Moroney, Ivan Cornejo, and Rema to Play Rolling Stone's Future of Music Showcase at SXSW

Part of this year's SXSW festival, the four-night concert series will take place between March 11 and March 14 and feature artists from all across the globe and genre spectrum. Boone -- who just performed his breakthrough hit "Beautiful Things" at the Grammys -- will lead night one, sharing the stage with Korean Australian singer-songwriter Hannah Bahng, Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter Laila!, and British indie-rock act jasmine.4.t, plus between-set performances by DJ Mel.

Country hitmaker Megan Moroney will top the bill on the second night. She'll be joined by fellow standout country acts Stephen Wilson Jr., Larkin Poe, and Brittney Spencer, with DJ sets by DJs Moonshine and Prison Rodeo of Honky Tonkin in Queens. Mexican American singer Ivan Cornejo takes top billing on March 13, alongside Argentine duo CA7RIEL & Paco Amoroso, Mexican American artist Nsqk, and Puerto Rican singer GALE, with DJ sets by Riobamba.

Closing out the Future of Music showcase on March 14 will be Nigerian singer-rapper Rema, accompanied by rising Atlanta star Anycia, Tennessee-born rapper Samara Cyn, and Midwestern lyricist AJ McQueen, with DJ sets by Annabelle Kline.

The annual showcase is tied to Rolling Stone's Future of Music issue, which surveys what's new, what's next, and what's moving the culture forward. The issue will be on newsstands in April, with the package of stories beginning to roll out digitally March 11. Our new Future 25 list -- Rolling Stone's rundown of the artists that have us most excited about the music of tomorrow -- will include several artists playing the SXSW showcase.

Last year's Future of Music showcase welcomed more than 12,000 attendees across four nights, with attendees lined up around the block for performances by Peso Pluma, Flo Milli, Teezo Touchdown, Young Miko, and Faye Webster.

The Future of Music Showcase is presented by audio pioneer JBL. At SXSW, JBL will debut its new suite of portable speakers, the Flip 7 and Charge 6. Fans are invited to visit JBL's Sound Bodega from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 12, and Thursday, March 13. Located at 3TEN, next to the Future of Music showcase, the Sound Bodega will offer exclusive interviews with Future of Music artists, live performances, and hands-on experiences with new products.

All-electric vehicle maker Rivian is teaming up with Rolling Stone to celebrate the launch of its California Dune Edition R1S and R1T. iHeartRadio is also supporting the Future of Music Showcase, along with Colossal who, in partnership with Rolling Stone and MusiCares, launched the 2024 search for America's Next Top Hitmaker. This fundraising competition raised more than $2.1 million; the winner, Duplexity, will kick off the Future of Music Showcase on March 11. Bardstown Bourbon will be on-site serving up specialty cocktails.

The Future of Music showcase is open to all SXSW badge holders and the public. Please note that badge holders will receive priority admission, and the general public will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis. Gates open daily at 6:15 PM, with doors opening at 6:45 PM. Click here to RSVP.

Rolling Stone journalists will report live throughout March 11-14, bringing audiences the latest news, photography, performance videos, and artist interviews from the showcase.
