Since their relationship was confirmed in 2023, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have been the most-talked-about celebrity couple. And as the "Anti-Hero" singer and Kansas Chiefs tight end's relationship continues in the public eye, Swifties and NFL fans alike have questioned if the pair will get engaged. Well, what Swift was seen wearing at Kelce's game on Nov. 10 just kicked those engagement rumors into high gear.
Here's more on that and the sparkler the pop star was seen rocking on her ring finger.
The jewelry experts at U.K. retailer Steven Stone took a closer look at Swift's new ring and how much it cost.
Maxwell Stone shared: "Taylor Swift's new ring features a stunning 2.79-carat cushion-cut ruby, surrounded by a halo of round-cut diamonds, totaling 1.17 carats. Set on a yellow-gold band, it retails at Retrouvai for just under $33,000. Rubies have long been regarded as symbols of strength, passion, and protection. Known for their deep red hue, they're believed to bring courage and vitality to their wearer, making them an ideal choice for someone like Taylor Swift, whose resilience and power shine through as her Eras Tour continues to captivate audiences around the world."
Stone added that while it's "unclear if the sparkler was a gift from Travis," there's no evidence that it signifies an engagement. Fans also shouldn't jump to conclusions about this particular ring as the pop star has been wearing a lot of rubies and garnet jewels for a while now in support of her beau and his team's color.
At the AFC Championship Game last season the "Lavender Haze" singer rocked a Mejuri Heirloom Signet Ring. And when Swift watched Kelce play in Super Bowl LVIII she donned a ruby solitaire necklace, a ruby eternity band, and a ruby stretch bracelet.
A couple of celebrity psychics weighed in about whether wedding bells may be ringing for the duo in the future.
Inbaal Honigman is a celebrity psychic who has been reading Tarot since the mid-90s. She has given predictions for Big Brother's Little Brother, Elle Magazine, and talkSPORT radio to name a few. Speaking on behalf of Slingo, Honigman said: "The idea of marriage will occur to Travis, but he's more in love with the idea of marriage than Taylor is."
However, another psychic predicted that although Swift's birth sign is the "bachelor sign" we could see an engagement for the couple before 2024 concludes.
According to astrologer and founder of the website Astrology Zone Susan Miller, "Sagittarius (Swift's sign) is known to be the bachelor sign. It is the one sign that doesn't like to commit too quickly, if at all." But Miller noted that Jupiter, the planet of good fortune, is in Swift's house of marriage "for the first time in 12 years ... This could be wonderful, what a beautiful bride she'd be."
