Lehigh Valley Health Network has two new medical sites planned for Bethlehem Steel's Martin Tower.
The Women's Health Center at Tower Place and Health Center at Tower Place are set to open this summer. The two facilities will have a combined footprint of 100,000 square feet.
The 40,000-square-feet dedicated to the Women's Health Center will include preventive gynecology care, breast health services, gynecology specialty programs, women's heart and vascular center, obstetrics and midwifery, maternal-fetal medicine, female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery, the health network said. Dermatology services will be provided in partnership with Advanced Dermatology Associates. Women's rehabilitation services and primarily pelvic floor therapy will also be available. On-site childcare would be available for patients receiving care.
Health Center at Tower Place will be about 60,000 square feet and will include HNL Lab Medicine, rehabilitation services, imaging services, an ExpressCARE, primary care, pulmonary and critical care medicine, endocrinology, bariatric medicine and a diabetes metabolism center.
Construction on the buildings began last year. The property, at 1170 Eighth Ave., once hosted Bethlehem Steel's 22-story headquarters. The building was demolished in 2019.
