DADE CITY, Fla. (WFLA) -- If the colder temperatures have you in the holiday spirit, you should try snowtubing at Snowcat Ridge in Dade City.

The alpine snow park is scheduled to open on Friday with tons of family fun and winter-themed activities.

"Hang out with your family with the smores and the music and lights," Snowcat Ridge Marketing Manger Winston McDaniel said. "It's great."

Visitors can hit the Snowy Slopes, a 60-foot tall and 400-foot-long hill, on a solo tube or with friends.

The Artic Igloo will also be open where families can play in real snow and make snowmen.

Keep your eyes open while you are visiting because you may come across Flurry the Mascot or even Santa on Christmas Lane.

Snowcat Ridge opens Friday, Nov. 22 at 3 p.m. and will be open through February.
